I chose Proov Confirm for the point in a cycle when an LH test has already shown the surge and you want information about what happened afterward. The kit uses urine tests to detect PdG, a metabolite of progesterone, during the implantation window.
Each cycle pack contains five PdG tests. Follow the testing window in the instructions rather than testing immediately after the LH surge. One-, two-, and three-cycle options are available.
An important limit: A positive PdG pattern can support confirmation that ovulation occurred, but it cannot measure egg quality, diagnose infertility, predict implantation, or guarantee pregnancy. Urine PdG is also not the same measurement as a blood progesterone test. Bring results to an ob-gyn or fertility clinician when you need interpretation.
Why I chose it:
Five at-home PdG urine tests per cycle
Information from the post-ovulation window
App-based scanning and result tracking
One-, two-, and three-cycle options
Can complement an existing LH or fertility-tracking method
